How often should I change the water?

Water exchange is an individual matter. The pool chemicals can be used to increase the purity and longevity of the water. A good idea is to use a sand filter.

How many litres of water do the tubs hold?

  • 1.6m ----> 1600 litres
  • 1.8m ----> 1900 litres
  • 2.0m ----> 2300 litres

How many people can fit in each barrel?

  • 1.6m ----> 2 to 3 people
  • 1.8m ----> 4 to 6 people
  • 2.0m ----> 6 to 8 people

How to prepare for the delivery of your tub?

The barrel will be delivered already assembled and all you need to do is have a hard, level surface prepared. Well placed concrete blocks, stone surface, a paved surface or wooden joists are ideal. A full barrel with water will weigh about two tons.

How long will the water stay hot for?

This depends on the initial temperature of the water and the quantity and quality of wood used. A temperature of 38 degrees Celsius will allow the water to stay warm for 2 to 5 hours. The best air burn dry wood fireplace (birch, beech, oak, black locust).

What about transportation?

Each tub can be picked up in person, but we also sell by mail order. A tub can be delivered on a pallet to any place in the Uk and EU.

How to use the tub in the Winter?

If you do not use the tub during the Winter months then the water should be removed. It is best to leave a few centimeters of saline water in the bottom of the tub to ensure it does not freeze.

How can you drain the water?

You can drain the tub by using the plastic valve in the bottom of the barrel. which you can hook up a garden hose to the quick.
